GuideYour first visit to a medical spa in Fort Myers: what actually happens
Booking your first appointment is the part that makes people hesitate. Here is the honest walk-through of a first visit at our Fort Myers atelier — the consultation, the timing and what you should ask before you say yes.
Most people who walk through our door in Fort Myers for the first time have the same two worries: that they will be talked into something they did not come for, and that they will not understand what is being done to their skin. Both are fair. So here is exactly how a first visit goes at Gema Medical Spa, from the moment you book to the moment you leave.
It starts with a consultation, not a treatment
Every medical-grade service here — laser hair removal, pico tattoo removal, peels — begins with a short personalized consultation. We look at your skin and hair, we tell you what the treatment can realistically do for you, and we map out how many sessions your plan is likely to need before anything is switched on. If what you booked is not the right treatment for what you are describing, we say so and suggest the one that is. That conversation happens in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.
How much time to set aside
Facials — including the Signature HydraFacial — run about 90 minutes, because they are fully customized rather than a fixed protocol. Laser hair removal on a single area takes around 30 minutes, and a pico tattoo removal session is also about 30 minutes. Add ten or fifteen minutes for the consultation on your first visit. We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; we are closed on Sunday.
What the price will be
The prices published on this site are ranges, and the range is not a sales tactic: a facial is $90 to $180 because the products and the steps change with what your skin needs that day, and laser hair removal starts at $75 for a single area because a forearm is not a full body. The exact figure is confirmed with you in person, before we begin. Nobody at Gema starts a treatment you have not agreed to and priced.
Three questions worth asking anywhere
Wherever you end up going in Fort Myers, ask these before your first session. One: how many sessions will this realistically take, and what happens if I stop halfway? Two: what does the aftercare look like for my skin type, in writing? Three: what is the exact price today, and what is the price of the full plan? A place that answers all three plainly is a place you can trust with your face.
